A Celebrated Tradition of Excellence

In 1946 Jay's Jewelry was founded in Rogers, Arkansas, by Jay and Mary Jarnagin. In 1952 they moved their business to Nowata, OK. and a second store in Coffeyville, Kansas. In 1968 the Jarnagin's moved to Anadarko, OK. to be near their family members and to continue in the retail jewelry business.

In 1978 their youngest son, Jason, joined the family business after graduating from Paris, Texas Junior College in jewelry repair, jewelry design, gemology and watch making. After the death of his father, Jason became manager, buyer, jeweler and watch repairman for Jay's Jewelry of Anadarko and worked with his mother, Mary, to continue to build a strong jewelry business.

In 1981 Jason married Kristy DeHart of Chickasha. On November 1, 1982, together Jason and Kristy opened their own business, Jay's Jewelry, House of Diamonds of Chickasha, where they pledged to serve the Chickasha community and surrounding area with the finest quality jewelry, repair and custom design.
